Biography:

• Cambria joined The Cutler Law Firm in 2020 to focus on veterinary practice purchase and sale transactions, employment agreements, and other contract matters. At The Cutler Law Firm, Cambria likes to build personal working relationships with veterinary practice owners to represent their interests in practice sales and veterinarians to document their employment priorities or as they become new owners of their first practice.
• Prior to joining The Cutler Law Firm, Cambria worked in-house on compliance and regulatory matters for a publicly traded hospitality corporation.
• Cambria’s experience also includes several years of outside general counsel legal services as a transactional associate attorney in the municipal law practice group of Best Best & Krieger LLP in southern California.

Personal: Cambria and her husband Brandon raise their preschool-aged son and daughter in the Indianapolis area. The busy life with two young kids often finds Cambria enjoying nature, museums, and parks with her family. Cambria loves to travel and enjoys trying new restaurants and breweries (preferably when a babysitter is available).

Nima Abbassi, JD

Attorney

Practice Area: Nima has provided transactional and advisory services for individual and business clients since 2013. His experience includes serving as the general counsel, tech transactions, and employment litigation. He joined The Cutler Law Firm in 2017 and focuses on veterinary practice purchase and sale transactions as well as a variety of other matters for veterinary clients.

Personal: Outside of work, Nima spends his time chasing his two young children, and enjoys cooking and hiking in his free time.

Travis Potter, JD

Principal

Practice Area: The Cutler Law Firm is exclusively focused on serving the veterinary profession.

Biography:

• While working with The Cutler Law firm, Travis has served as the lead counsel on dozens of veterinary practice transactions and advised clients on a wide range of matters faced by veterinary practice owners, acquirers, and sellers
• He particularly enjoys the challenge and rewards of working with veterinarians starting practices and entering into partnering arrangements
• Prior to joining The Cutler Law Firm, Travis was an associate in the real estate group of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, focusing on the acquisition, disposition, and financing across a range of asset classes; while there the group was voted Real Estate Group of the Year by Law360
• Travis began his legal career at Cox, Castle & Nicholson
• Prior to law school, Travis worked in business consulting and analysis roles, including in the office of the CEO of a Fortune 500, diversified media company advising on a range of strategy, finance, and operational projects across the Company’s twenty-three subsidiary businesses.  Travis began his career as a consultant in the strategy group of the global consulting firm Accenture

Personal: Outside of work, Travis enjoys exploring Southern California with his wife and their three dogs.

Trey Cutler, JD

Founder

Practice Area: Trey has practiced Business Law since 1987, focusing primarily on Veterinary Practice matters for over 25 years. Veterinary transactions include veterinary practice purchase and sale transactions, partnering transactions, real estate transactions, non-veterinary ownership structures, employment agreements, start-ups, and other business law matters.

Personal: Trey and his wife Jenice have been married since 1989 and live in San Luis Obispo, California. They have three adult children and a Chihuahua mix named Lola. In his free time, Trey loves to dance and surf.
