Amici Cannis

Amici Cannis is a registered 501(c)3 organization bringing much-needed access to veterinary care to indigenous villages in and around Cotacachi, Ecuador. Through its state-of-the-art animal hospital and outreach programs, the organization offers high-quality care to both owned and unowned dogs and cats. All profits from the animal hospital are reinvested in serving the unowned pet population.

The Amici Cannis team enables the animals of individuals living in extreme poverty to have access to the best care and preventive veterinary services the hospital can offer. They run large-scale sterilization, vaccination, and deworming campaigns to ensure that animals remain healthy and safe. This, in turn, reduces the number of abandoned animals.
